Karen
I think that we can all agree that this community has been dead for the past few months.
What happened here, guys? We're all exciting, friendly, passionate people!
I for one believe that it's time to resurrect booklisters and become a true community again.

How shall we do this, you ask?

By holding a
Friending Meme

I think that if we could all just come out of our shells, reintroduce ourselves, and remind everyone how amazingly great it is to start literary discussion in here, then this place will get hopping again in no time.

Answer as much or as little as you like. =)

I love Walter Moers! Have you read The City of Dreaming Books???

I have! I loved that one too, and was very hard pressed to pick which one of them should go on this list! I love his humour.

Have you read any of his other books? I'm very keen to, but haven't been able to find any of them yet.

I ordered Rumo and his Miraculous Adventures off Amazon, and it is waiting for me on my bookshelf at this very minute! Supposedly it also takes place in "Zamonia" and some of the characters even overlap. I'm excited to read it but need to finish what I've got on my plate already. I think most bookstores only carry the two we have read, so you might need to look online to find the others. Cheers.

Heh - I'm in Denmark and ordered those two online as well ;-) Let me know what you think once you get around to reading them?
